Jigsaw PSHE – we use the Jigsaw approach to teach Personal, Social and Health Education, using a mindfulness approach and focusing on pupil voice through circle times. Here is a link to some information about Jigsaw

MITOS provide us with Emotion Coaching for children who need that little bit of additional support. They also provide training for our staff in trauma informed approaches to working with children. They are based in our building and so we have this support available to us when we need it.

Summer is our school dog, and is with us two days a week.

We have provision in school for children who need space away from others. The Roost allows children to have a quiet space to regulate their emotions and be calm.

We use Zones of Regulation to help children to learn how to manage those difficult emotions that they sometimes have.

Our amazing team of Teaching Assistants are all very well trained in helping our children to understand their emotions and we make sure that every child in our school can name an adult whom they trust to talk to about anything that is bothering them.

We take our responsibilities with regards Safeguarding and Child Protection very seriously, and always follow up all concerns. If you have a concern about a child who attends our school, please let us know, using the information in the ‘Contact Us’ section of our website:
