PE & SPORTS PREMIUM FUNDING
Funding for schools was calculated by the number of primary aged pupils (between the ages of 5 and 11) at the annual census in January. All schools with 17 or more primary-aged pupils received a lump sum of £16,000 plus a premium of £10 per pupil. Schools will be held to account for how they spend the sport funding. 

OUR SPORTS & PE VISION
At Abbot Alphege Academy we believe that Physical Education (PE) and Sport is an essential part of a child’s educational development. We aim to develop a balanced programme, both during and out of school hours, offering a variety of activities to enhance skills in PE and Sport.

Positive participation in Physical Education enable all children to develop physically, socially and mentally. PE aids positive views of self-worth, self-esteem, team work and positive attitudes to life-long physicality and activity.
